Android tablets reach market, provide competition for the iPad

Android tablets are here! This is good, since they will provide competition for the Apple iPad.

This article by Michael Oliveira about iPad alternatives including some Android based ones, such as the Dell Streak, the Archos.

They also cover the new One Laptop per Child tablet.

And from the non-Android front, HP has announced that its upcoming Slate will run WebOS, which HP acquired when they purchased Palm.

We absolutely agree that Android tablets give competition to iPad because of its faster web browsing and quick access to all applications
