RateMyCompany: Someone Started JobVent.com

A while back, I wrote about RateMyProfessor.com, and yearned for other areas that can use the model.  I specifically mentioned RateMyManager.com and RateMyCompany.com.

Well, someone did something about it, and put up JobVent.com, where people can "vent" about the place they work at.

As it stands today, companies like Hewitt Associates, Wal-mart, and North West Airlines are among the worst, and Fidelity Investments, Walgreens,  and Northrop Grumman are among the best.

How soon till the lawsuits start?

Lender Processing Services

This company used to be known as Fidelity Services. It's located in Solon Ohio. Do not work there! They fired me because my disability! How stupid is that!? I had to get a lawyer and contact the EEOC. They were firing so many good workers that HR would fire anyone a manager or supervisor wanted gone because they didn't like them because of their own insecurities. I had already had documentaion in HR about my disability and I guess they forgot and when my supervisor wanted me gone she asked HR to fire me and they did. As soon as they did and I told them why I could not do a certain thing, then they realized they messed up royally. I've also watched very good workers let go for nothing. But if you're a lazy person, this place may be good for you.

Company Specific Job Reviews

Like the other mentioned above, http://www.careerleak.com focuses on company specific job reviews, however distances itself from being an rant and rave site and leans more towards objective job profiles. It is still user generated, however revenge posting is discouraged.
