Snow on trees makes a winter wonderland

When snow falls, how it looks like depends on complex weather conditions. Often, we are treated to a spectacular show, when lots of it accumulate on tree branches. Such an occurance happened on February 16, 2005. Here are the pictures.

This is the maple tree in the backyard. Snow has accumulated on it making for a nice picture
The same is true, but to a different degree, for the lilac trees in my neighbor's yard.
The evergreen conifers are designed for winter and snow. They can take heavy snow loads.
This is a great picture. It is a combination of the lilacs in my backyard, and a pear tree in my other neighbor's backyard.
This is the frontyard maple tree.
