Nerd Attention Deficit Disorder or Internet Anxiety Disorder

A while back, I wrote about Interrupting Interruptions, and Life Interrupted: Stressed by Distraction.

This now seems to be on its way to be recognized as a 'condition', and even has some proposed names: from N.A.D.D. Nerd Attention Deficiency Disorder, or Internet Anxiety Disorder, as Om Malik calls it. Blake Ross also touches on this in his weblog: Understanding the Internet Generation. Slashdot had a discussion on these.

Somewhat related, the people who designed SAT (high school finals test of sorts), bring us the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Literacy Test. A Wired reporter decided to take the test, and see what it measures, and came up with Testing your Tech Smarts. Another Slashdot discussion on that ensued.
