Ahmad Okeil

Maternal cousin. Known to the family as Yehiya Okeil. Associate Professor of Architectural Engineering, University of Alexandria, who also taught in the United Arab Emirates University. He is presently teaching at the British University in Dubai, where he specializes in Environmental Design.

Ayman Okeil

Maternal cousin. Professor of Civil Engineering, University of Alexandria, and currently teaching in Louisiana State University.

Ghada El Nashar

Ghada's maternal grandfather is Abdel Aziz Abou Youssef, who happens to be my grandfather's brother. You can read a bit more about this part of my maternal family. Ghada is a staff member of the Adham Center for  Television and Journalism, which is part of the American University of Cairo. She graduated from high school with an amazing rank of 17 for the whole of Egypt. She is an alumnus of The Adham Center.
