Drupal's CVS: 120,000 commits and counting
Submitted by Khalid on Sun, 2008/06/08 - 01:47.Fellow Toronto DUG member Rob Loach, , committed the 120,000 th commit to Drupal's CVS on June 6, 2008.
It took a little bit less than 4 months for the previous 20,000 commits (here is the 100,000 th commit). Compare that to the previous 20,000 commits (here is the 80,000 commit), which took a bit more than 5 months.
Let us see if the accelerating trend holds up for the next 20,000 commits.

Continuing the trend, that's 6 months from 60,000, 5 months from 40,000, 11 months from 20,000, and 14 months from the inception of CVS for Drupal back in 2004. Let's keep up the good work!

Regarding the first commit. Something is not quite right with it. I noticed that a while ago, but can't explain it. See my previous post Drupal's CVS gets 100,000 commits.

Too Bad...
Too bad the commit wasn't something more interesting than an update to the sandbox! It would've been cooler if it was a release of a new Views 2 Beta or something.
