If everyone pronounced Linux the way Linus does (Lee-nooks), rather than the Anglicized (Lie-nooks) this would not have happened.

I am not sure if they got the spelling wrong or not, but there are jobs out there specifically for Lynux which is an implementation of of two OS projects for embedded devices if I remember correctly. I have seen the occasional job posting for Lynux experience in Columbus OH also.
