While Egypt saw bread riots recently, we see another row caused by bread, namely, burning of bread in Israel.

Not to mention panem et circenses (bread and circus games).

Well, bread is pretty important, man. I mean when something great comes out it's "the best thing since bread and butter." Frankly, we have too much of it over here and in various forms. Probably why we steadily increase in weight gain.
