Alleged terrorist plan against JFK Airport in New York lands unlikely suspect

The authorities in the United States arrested several people in connection with an alleged terror plot to destroy New York's city JFK airport by blowing up a jet fuel supply line.

Among the four accused there are people who are unlikely to be terrorists. For example, one suspect, Abdul Kadir from Guyana is a 55 year old ex-Mayor and ex-member of parliament.

I wonder if this case involves payments to informants who then create terrorists, whether by coaxing them leading to entrapment, or by inventing them from thin air.

Suspect at large surrenders to police

One more sign that this is a concocted plot: a suspect has given himself up to the police voluntarily.

Abdel Nur, from Guyana, surrendered to a police station in Port-of-Spain, Trinidad. He is said to be the uncle of Andrew Lewis a world boxing champion.
