According to Al Jazeera (in Arabic), a new study by Muhammad Abou Rumman and Hassan Haneyeh, described as experts in Islamic groups, criticizes how the government deals with "Jihadist Salafism" (in other words, militant traditionalist literalists).

A few days ago, I got a Toshiba Satellite A300-0F7 15.4" laptop, and proceeded to install Kubuntu Jaunty Jackelope (9.04) on it. I chose the 64-bit (amd64) version to install.

The scammers are pretty brazen and try to convince others that their scams are true.
Here are some examples:
1. A scammer vouches for a scam that he promotes, for example: for the Email fraud: qualifying for the Cadbury Foundation cash aid, he adds a comment saying:

My friend Ralph Janke who is from Germany and lives here in Waterloo, pointed me to a very interesting project that he worked on.
The project is funded by the European Union, and therefore uses open source and open data formats.
Here is another scam offering a job of "professional personal assistant" for a fictitious company.

The Drupal security team receives reports of all sorts all the time.
Some of them are false positives by security scanning software.
Today we got a report about a Trojan being detected in Drupal 6.10 and 6.13 by TrendMicro OfficeScan version 10, in the following files:
modules/color/color.install - BQDR_IRCBOT.BZQ modules/profile/profile-wrapper.tpl.php - TROJ_SWIZZOR.KXV modules/translation/translation.module - TROJ_FRAUDLO.LL
As the scammers get more seasoned, they also become bolder, and more "creative".
Here is a set of emails that were sent to me by various scam attempt recepients.
They claim that they are law enforcement, from Metropolitan Police in the UK, to the FBI, and others.
They all warn the prospective victims of all the scams on the internet and then proceed to vouch for the very scam they have sent earlier to the same person, giving him a false sense of verification and validation.
