Dear Winner,
Another classic scam claiming a corrupt Nigerian official has amassed a fortune and entrusted the scammer with a portion of it.
This one includes links to real people and events to lend legitimacy to the claim.
Another variant, claiming to be the Japan email lottery, although the address provided is in Beijing, China.
Also note that recent scam has a note for keeping the winning confidential. This is used as an escape route for the scammers when someone gets suspicious or contacts the police, they say that you have breeched the confidentiality clause, and hence are not eligible anymore for the award amount.
Yet another variant of the scam, winning a lottery, this time claimed to be from Australia.

Sometimes, the focus on religious freedom issues of Muslims is on Western countries, where there are indeed issues, but let us not forget that despotic regimes in Muslim countries do the same too.
Another scam, about an alleged rich person dying, and wants to give money to charity. He has large sums of money abroad, and wants you to collect the money on his behalf.
In this case, it is a Bahrian citzen, dying from cancer.
