So, I got this as well. And

Thu, 2008/02/21 - 23:17

So, I got this as well. And acctually called the lawyer they recommended to facilitate the "transfer of my funds.." So i called the man, who was supposed to be a lawyer working in Zambia who is in charge of dealing with funds transfers. and he answeared! I was initially very curious as to the validity of the email because i've just come back for studing for 5 weeks in West AFrica. anyway, so the guy picked up, and he was deffinatly an african, based on his accent, and articulation, probably an educated south african. He told me in order to begin the paper work, he would need a deposite of $550 u.s. I told him I wasent quite sure of the wether or not it was a fake. he said, "if you think these things are fake u must ignore them, that is how we do it in africa. " and didnt say anything else. I asked if I could use my personal lawyer to transfer the funds, and he said no. Fake,..? probably.

SCAM!!! Too Good to be TRUE!!

Fri, 2008/03/07 - 10:38

Hi guys,
though i was not a victim directly, cos they didn't ask me to pay anything, but these things are indeed fake!!
Mine was too good to be true. They went as far as sending me a award
certificate and an Insurance certificate to claim my winnings, can you believe this? I was quick to send my bank details but with a ZERO balance (i just open it).
So We shouldn't believe things like these, but work hard to earn our own winnings.

Foolishness...

Fri, 2008/03/14 - 02:00

Come on people.. Let's take a good look at these emails. I received about 6 of these in 3 months. There are many grammatical errors in the body of these emails. If this was a legit winning, don't you think people we are to respond would have an email address besides Yahoo, Aim, Hotmail and gmail? Come on, that should raise enough concern right there. Think about it!
