i was about to do it and then i figured out something is wrong and checked it up on internet and it said it's a scam!
why would people do theses things?

In that mail she tell me that was a computer ballot that was organized by Gmail Network Board, on Saturdat 31st July 2010, in Gmail Network office, Johannesburg South Africa. This Gmail Client Promotional Lottery was organized to promote all your Gmail Clients/Users and to encourage many to use our Gmail.com Network.

I have win lottery of US$400000.00. Later, I send my attached personal data to the Gmail account and Mrs. John Protius, Proccessing Director (johnprotius@hotmail.com), sends to communication of confirmation and securing to me, after to verify that the direction of my account heinrichy@gmail.com is the true winning of this GMAIL 2010 NETWORK PROMOTIONAL LOTTERY and emit order of payment to the bank “First National Bank of South Africa”. Like so, it asks to me to contact Mr. John Protius, Interational Remittance Department (fnbbanksa@safrica.com).
