APC Mag is an Australian technology magazine site that is powered by Drupal. It was on Slashdot today, and seems to be holding fine to the onslaught caused by the slashdotting. What is also interesting is that this Drupal site is part of NineMSN, a Microsoft joint venture in Australia.

It's not a Microsoft site... it just carries NineMSN advertising
Tue, 2007/02/06 - 07:17Hi there bert, I'm the editor of apcmag.com. Although the website carries the NineMSN toolbar and advertising, it's actually a 'partner' site, not a site run by NineMSN. It's the website of APC Magazine which is the longest-running PC magazine in Australia and is known for taking a sharp eye to everything, including (and especially) Microsoft :-) We chose to run on a fully OSS platform to give us flexibility and freedom from licencing cost, and to make a statement that we would practice what we preached in the magazine.

ACP and NineMSN
Fri, 2007/03/23 - 04:03you can tell ACPMag is not really a ninemsn site because it's useable, well laid out and dialogue based (comments start on the first page). NineMSN viewers stay about 2hours a month and in the community areas (people and groups) about 10 mins per month. That's not much when you consider how much content they have. I bet that ACP, in spite of its much narrower content, would be comparable.
I'm glad an Aussie site is using drupal in such an elegant way. :)
