Residential Compounds in Jeddah

I am coming in April-2010 to work in Makkah. With wife, 3 children 5,8, 11 and mother (72 yrs). Employer recommends to live in Jeddah for family living and schooling (not available in Makkah). Q(1) What is the nearest compund (SR 4000 to 6000/month) to easy access to Makkah every morning for work, is it difficult to travel by road ? (2) Nearest international school (Fee 15000/m) (3) Company giving full family benefits/ how can I bring my mother on residence visa/ she always lived with us.
