You know its a scam if you did not buy Tickets

Thu, 2009/04/23 - 19:40

Family members and myself have been receiving these scam letters promising huge winnings.

How can you tell its a Scam? Well, its a scam if you did not buy tickets for the draw in the first place. How can you win if you have not played in the first place?

We shred the letters as soon as we receive them. What we can't understand is how they obtain our details i.e. correct names and address.

How hard is it to understand that this is SCAM?

Sun, 2009/05/17 - 09:56

When someone send you an e-mail, telling you have won several 100 thousand euros or dollars, IT SHOULD RING A BELL!!!
OK, not all are as smart as others, and do not understand this before their wallet is emty, and no prize is payed - some still don't learn from it.

Anyway, I have a good tip for you smart and not so smart ones:

Once you receive such email, copy a phrase in the e-mail, and GOOGLE it! I can tell there is plenty of hits on that phrase related to SCAM!

So there you go. Check with google first. If you do not find anything, please delete these e-mails anyway. IT IS SCAM!!!
