I have won at the "Microsoft Lottery Award 2008", harhar!

Tue, 2008/05/13 - 05:03

Hello everyone,
after having read some of the comments & blogs about so-called "Microsoft Lottery Awards", it is quite clear to me that I am not the only one! Funny that all the winners almost always have "won" one million (GBP, Euros, or USD), so the scammers seem not to change this detail! One thing is sure here: I have already deleted this mail. There are some details here which told me that this is a scam or phishing e-mail & which I would like to tell you:
1. The sender of the mail is a person with a nondescript, interchangeable name, here: Mrs Olivia Malik.
2. The e-mail addresses to where I am requested to send my reply are yahoo adresses (favoured by scammers) with foreign country codes, here: godwinsmithlottery@yahoo.it or microsoftlottery.award@yahoo.ie.
So, my advice is: Delete such a mail, if it should ever reach you! Don´t answer! THese bastards are everywhere. Have a nice day,
J. Kuhlmann.
