Another scam via Craigslist: offering more than asking price

dayo yanki is another name they are using. Same email as one of the others posted here. I played along for awhile and sent them a phony name and address. I even offered to deliver the item myself since I told them my city was only an hour away from Seattle. (its actually about a 3 days drive or more.) and they didn't even realize that!

I thought it was really weird when I received this email from this woman and she said that she would pay more for my item than I asked....who would do that in this economy???? Then she didn't even mention what my item was in the email, read it below. I am so glad that I copied and pasted the part where she said that I needed to check the link VID1 from her son's computer. How stupid do these scammers think we are????!!!!

I don't know there address in the USA as am only dealing directly with the representative handling my consignment. I am very worried and tired of this stress but I understand. Jim will try and get a scanner when he gets back so he can help me with having copies of my ID. I am down with a little fever, I'll be fine in no time anyway. Please let me know what else you want to know and if not interested in renting the place to me, please let me know instead of making me go through all this. You don't understand the pain of having ones belongings withhold by a shipping now and it's going to cost me. Reference...I worked under my uncle for a year and he is still running the private health center, which deals in projects that involves heart related diseases, I also work as a private tutor...And before that I schooled in Spain before moving down to united kingdom after the death of my dad and younger sibling in a car accident....

I like honest, responsible, trustworthy and hardworking people while I dislike uncaring people and I love pets so much, am quiet and easy going person to live with. I'm 5'7' straight. I always love to go on date but seldom party. I swim for fun and sometimes play tennis. I must confess am comfortable with the price and I will want to secure the place down before my arrival so I will want you to tell me all about the place, as I can't see it before my arrival...Attached is my picture, just to give you a clue of who you are renting to. I also will want you to know that I have my car that I will be coming over with, and little of my furniture, please let me know if there will be room for them?

He used at least three different email addresses in the course of one week -William Steeves [williamstvs99@gmail.com]. Also used - William Steeves [hddffghghg@gmail.com] and then very similar to this one he used William Steeves [gcffkghcgh@gmail.com]. This guy actually sent me the same letter on two different items ... So he lastly sent me an email saying :
