I received the same type of

Thu, 2011/05/05 - 08:18

I received the same type of email from Australian lottery that I've won $ 500,000. They had telephone number as well i called them to make sure that it is not a spam. They guy picked up and said yes congratulations you've won the prize and have to fill in the form and email to them. They asked me to provide them my personal details with my contact details. I sent them my full name, my full address, gender, ocupations, mobile number and home phone number. They also asked me for my date of birth but i didn't send them because i didn't believe that I had won the lottery that i haven't entered.
They sent me another mail to send them my banking details but the tone of mail was very unprofessional and then i believed that it was a spam.

I want to ask that how can they misuse my personal details that i sent to them.
thank you
