Here is a classic advance fee fraud scam email. It is the classic "widow of wealthy man wants someone to help her with a large amount of money".

Just play along and mess with them! I set up a fake email account and email them all the time asking stupid questions, needing more info, I even onve tried to get them to meet me in real life!! lol...Play their game against them!

This is what I got in response, and I'm tempted to take it another step further considering I would just be giving her info anyone could look up if they wanted to. Now that I know its a scam, I'm not holding out any hope, but it would be interesting to see where the scam leads...

I was about to reply but something told me to do some research about this person before I gave out any information about myself. I was pretty amazed at how many people has received this email. I found out if you continue to email this person, they would request that you send in some money. If only we could catch the person who is sending this email. But I would think that there was a catch in this email, it is when she mentioned not to tell anyone about her and that you were the only person she is communicating with. This is about the six site that I have come to that speaks about Rita Gilbert.
