Email scam: Platinum Lottery International, South African Lottery, FIFA

I rec'd this mail a couple of days ago like I am a winner of about milion $ .That was so good and so easy.I did not belive but I sent my profile to them "in any case".Than I rec'd some certificate with my name and they suggest me to come there in South Africa or to take their lawyer and send him my information .That was so strange,who can get so much money so easy???Than I found this page...
Please tell me if they can use my name and address,I did not send them any specific information,like account and any numbers?Only generally.Is there any way to stop these sick people,this is a crime.

i got mail saying that i am one of the platinum international program.so i want to verify if it is real.

i think is a scam cause ive got this e-mail twice on time it said that ive been selected for one of the top ten winners and to reply in 20days or so, then ive got another one just like the one that got posted.

A email was sent to me from the Africa computer promotion saying I was the 2007 draw winner would this be true. I was also asked to pay some money for tax and document signing by the high court of africa, would this be true please help.
