Here is a classic scam from Craigslist.They offer to buy your item you advertised via classified for more money than you ask for ($375 in my case, he offered $500).They even give you a bleeding heart story about wife dying in accident.

I want to get rid of this car just take it! But becayse his English is close to the other emails it makes me think it is. A reason I say this is the way he phrases, ex. "I wait to read from you asap." My friend who is middle eastern speaks like this. So reading through the emails you can id, alot of these phrasings. :\

Interesting scam
Wed, 2008/03/26 - 18:25recieved interest in item I was selling on craigslist. Stating that they liked my product and wanted it but could not pick it up. All they said was that they would send me the cost of my item and some extra for shipping charges and whatever was left over, I could send back to there shippers address so they could collect it. Total all together it would have cost 50.00 for my item and about 25.00 or less to have it shipped to them. Well today in the mail I recieved a check for 2900.00. Yeah ok, I don't know what they are thinking. They sent me an email telling me to deposite the money in my account, get the items ready for shipment keep an extra 50.00 for my gas and stress that it would take me to get this done for them and send the remainder of the money via money gram to another address and wait to hear from them about shipping arrangements. Needless to say this check is going in the trash. The names on the emails and addresses are as follows.
email address it came from was lizy collins from vikkysexy4u@gmail.com they wanted me to send the remainder of the money to Donald Vaughn at 111 W. Marine Dr. Warrenton, OR 97146 The address and phone number that the check came from was Mr Peter Copp, Fossil Inc, 237 Sylvan Dell Avenue, Piscataway NJ 08854
The check was from Irwin International Inc 225 Airport Cir
Corona California 92880-2527. From the Union Bank of California 18300 Von Karman Ave Irvine, CA 92715-1025
Phone number 714-553-7000. So if anyone recieves any contact from these places or addresses you may be better off if you just leave them alone. Hope it helps
