By Khalid on 2008/06/26 - 10:00, last updated 2008/06/26 - 10:00

Another scam that claims one has won half a million Euros and a new Audi Car. None of that is true of course. The usual "keep it confidential" clause is there.

The info they request is just enough that they can get your passwords to bank accounts set up identity theft and get other personal info on you. Just delete the email. I did and reported it as a scam.

I was curious, what's the next step? Do they ask you to pay shipping or something?

Exactly ...

Sun, 2020/11/08 - 09:25

That is exactly what will happen in any Advance Fee Scam: they will ask you for money under different names: courier, certificate, insurance, lawyer, taxes, bank fees, ....etc. And will keep asking for money as long as you pay. Until you finally realize there is no prize, and no money, and that you have been scammed ... People lose thousands in the process, and it is often money that they borrowed from somewhere.
