It is satisfying to see that people who stumble on this page are nostalgic about their days in E.G.C.
- One person I met recently on an Iftar dinner gathering recognizedmy name when were introduced. He said he had searched on E.G.C on thenet and remembers my name. He jokingly said he followed my footstepsfrom E.G.C. to Canada! What a coincidence.
- Many visitors were glad that someone had the passion to write about our school, and said they have many memories of the school.

Fri, 2009/06/12 - 18:15Well,when it comes to my dear E.G.C. I become speechless. The place where i spent my days of childhood and teenage.where i first knew tears and smiles.the place where i was introduced to my first friends that some of them i keep till this very moment.
E.G.C wan more than a school for me.This charming place will always be a part of me.A part wish is never gonna be seperateable.till the last day in my life i am gonna miss her and i know i shall never experience days just like those i experience in this sacred place

The good old days
Thu, 2010/01/28 - 21:13Thank you Khalid for this great effort. I am an ex EGC, class of 1984 (although i left earlier). i was thrilled to find the website and go through all the lovely memoires. My late mum used to teach Arabic (Mrs Amal Hassan) and that is how i got to know many of the names of older classes.
I think that specially for us living abroad, there is a bigger need to remember the good old days.
i have not recognised any of my class on your pages, hopefully someone sees this and become encouraged to write.
Regards,
Sahar Abdel Aziz

EGC is and will always be the place we were made
Tue, 2010/05/11 - 11:33every thing we r now, is largely a tribute to this wondrous walls enfolding the freinds, teachers and fun we always had there. I always wanted to go forth and exit all the bounds, but as we grow older we realize the bounds are endless , they catch u in the end, but our school was the best, and easiest of them all, budding personalities and lost stories of woes and laughs, jokes about dear teachers , i remember mri hekmat , mrs sawsan, mrs mervat and mr nagi, mrs luci and laila and eman and amal , my class of 88 , all 100 or so of them, heba yousry, and hala kamal, rania elbouriny, abeer ragaei, alaa and amr who were friends but i dont remember last names, nader and hossam , ahmed kamar and mokbel, karim barshoumi, nermine , sandra and reem eraqi, vague memoreis and fond minute details, just out of reach, so many names , rania ragab, natalie and her close shlla amira shehata i think and shereen, reem wahid and hala areeny, suzan and shaheera, good times with no burdens except getting marks and establishing friends, no burdens but those we dream up, what a wonderful time, thanks for the major effort done by khalid and its been a blast every body.
