Here are some tips for trying to locate your ex-E.G.C. friends and colleagues, or even teachers and staff.First, try the Links and Resources page. There are many commerical sites that have a section on E.G.C., but their coverage is spotty. If you a relatively recent graduate, then contact your ex-colleagues. It is fairly easy to do so since not a lot of time has passed If you have graduated decades ago, like me, you can do the following:
- Click on the add new comment below.
- In your message, list the years you have been in EGC, your name, the name(s) of the persons you are looking for, and a way to contact you (phone, email, web site, ...etc.
- Your message will be reviewed and published, and that can take a day or two.

Ex-EGC in North America
Sun, 2006/12/03 - 17:07Hi
This is a great website. I stumbeled over it accidently, I have to admit. I have attended the EGC from 1967 untill 1981. Currently I live in America.
My name is Rehab Hamdi and I will very very interested if someone recognizes my name and sends me an answer. I can't really mention names. I have met a lot of people from kindergarten to high school. However, I think I will remember anyone who remebers me.
How many x-EGCians reside in North America?
:o)

My class
Sat, 2007/01/13 - 17:50Both Maha and Samar were in my class for 1st prep and 3rd prep, and also in elementary.
Are you Sarah who had blondish hair and were friends with Dina El Seioufi? At one point you had a T-shirt saying "Be a human bean" with a bean pod on it?

searching for E.G.C. friends
Sun, 2007/01/14 - 13:30Yes. I am suprised my silly t-shirt made such an impression. I was friends with Dina el Sioufi and still keep in touch with her. She lives in London with her mom. I would love it if you could put me in touch with someone who knows the where abouts of Samar Mamoun or Maha Salam. I think that Maha is a doctor in Cairo, but that is as much as I know.

Silly T-shirt
Sun, 2007/01/14 - 14:39It was notable because it was the first example of word play that I have seen. This would be in 1972 or 72 or so. Also wearing T-shirts was so unusual at the time, since our uniform was dress shirts in pastel colors.
I sent you a private email with Seham's info.
