Craigslist classified for used car: Cheque fraud scam

Has anyone ever printed a check and try to cash it???? Has anyone gone this far...I have same scam starting but is pay for service and then send the "excess western union"??? Is this guy scamming some bank account and wants the dirty work/FRAUD part!!

Thanks for all your mails. I just got a few mails from Michael Book looking to buy my car, thankfully I had read your mails. He is definitely a fraudster. Is there anyone hat he could be reported too?? The police won't be interested.

My expected Joining Date is on December 08, 2008.They told me that as I am not a citizen of Nigeria and do not presently reside in Nigeria and I have also no local delegate I need a working permit of Nigeria. for getting the Nigerian Work and residence permit document. The Company also asked me to provode them my Nigerian Work and residence permit documents on or before 21st of November 2008.I shall also need a local delegate who will act on my behalf for signing and collection of the hard copy of my contract document and send the same to me via courier.
After doing contact with Dr. Samuel Tunde ,he said that I have to pay $350 USD for application fee for start up the processing of my travelling document and other necessary papers.

So please give me suggestion what I have to do ?Is this Employment Offer. Scam or Fraud ?

I shall be higly pleased if you will kindly consider my application and assist ,guide,direct me as soon as possible to take dicision to accept their Employment Offer and give me the information via email.

I was selling a car on craigslist and he told me to go buy a versa business check paper and print it out. I told him to just send me the money western union, money gram, or paypal or cash. He came up with this excuse that he was out of the state and didnt have no cash on him or his checks and i was like so how are you paying for stuff with no money and out of town. Right everyone knows you need money if you go out of town and how are you gonna get back home. he said he hed a credit card and i told him well go to wal-mart and send me the money through money gram and put it on your credit card. I also told him i knew about all these little scams on craigslist about this and if he was still interested in the car he can pay me cash of course he bailed out. He was like oh I aint interested in the car anymore. Some loosers trying to get your information. They need to catch all these people.

I got essentially the same message. It looked very suspicious, and thanks to this page which came up when I googled Barb Roman. Thanks to the previous posts!

I got the exact same lame attempt at a scam from Barb Roman in Rock Springs, WY. in regards to a listing on Craigs List. When they can't even use good grammar, you know there's a problem.
