Guys, let's not be naive!

Fri, 2009/02/13 - 12:41

Outrageous cynicism of our everyday world amazes me. All the moral values are violated, u can trust NO ONE & keep all your noble intentions & all your humane feelings for yourself & for those whom u really know. A couple of days ago i received a heartbreaking message from a rich man dying from cancer, who looks for someone who could help him dispatch his huge fortune to charity organisations "for the benefit of the downtrodden, less priveledged ,people in disaster affected areas and unto the glory of God Almighty". I hesitated for a moment, & then realised it was a scam, but i felt curious about which way he chooses to con me out of money, so i sent a reply. But how cynical it is! He calls himself Rev Ken Plywood. The most funny thing is this "Rev" & all the sugary words about God, kindness & noble impulses! It's becomming unwise to be kind, as u risk to be a fool.

Just look at this:
Hello, This is Ken Plywood, a successful Australian Businessman. I have been diagnosed with esophageal cancer. It has defiled all forms of medical treatment, and right now I have only about a few months to live.I am very rich, but was never generous, I have given most of my assets to my immediate family members. I have decided to give alms to charity organizations. I cannot do this myself anymore because of my health.I once asked members of my family to give some money to charity organizations, they refused and kept the money.I have a huge cash deposit of Six Million Usdollars with a financial Institution abroad. I will want you to help me collect this deposit and dispatch it to charity organizations. You will take out 20% of this funds for your assistance. I know not everybody that has the heart to carry out Charitable cause like this but I assure you that this Noble cause is worth embarking on even though the reward is eternal and immediate and I hope you will help me bring my wishes to reality even I might not be here to know whether you used the fund for the this Noble Cause. I wait to hear from you and please note that the fund will be Released to you through Telegraphic wire transfer then you will disburse the funds to the list of Charity organizations whose names I will pass to you. Please note that my use of computer is restricted by Doctors, so if you do not get an immediate instruction after you email me do not worry, I will find to to check my mail to ensure smooth communication until you receive the fund as has been perfectly arranged. Also email your reply to: rev.kenplywood@yahoo.co.uk.
Regards,

Then you tell me this is a final notice final notice of what? Why do I have to pay 10 registration fee for? Every times I mail this envelop it cost more than regular stamps.
