What u guys think about this one....this is some e-mails that i recived...
Hello,

I am sorry for getting back to you late, it was due to the situation in the family.I was called on emergency that my Husband collapsed at work, when we brought him into the hospital,we discovered that he was suffering from cancer and he needed a major sugery.

I have not been comfortable since then, and sent out payment to your contact address you gave me but I discovered that some how, my assistant has over paid you the payment amount( CHECK) that was meant for another transaction was sent to you and the one meant for you was sent to another person.

Please once you receive the check, I will like you to deposit it at your bank. You are to deduct your money for the purchase and the remaining balance you will send via western union to us because we really need to get my husband hospital bills settled.

When you receive the check, I will send to you, the information you will use in sending the remaining balance via werstern union to us, so that my husband hospital bills can be settled and my mover can contact you for the pick-up arrangment as well.

Thanks once again for your understanding and get back to me when you received this mail.

Mrs. Elizabeth Sims

Hello,

Thanks for your concern and your comittment in considering the present condition with my husband, which is most concern to all the family.

I am most sorry for just getting back to you now, it was as a result of my being with him all the days in the hospital. We have bought a lot of drugs and they are all expensive and now, the doctor advice us to let him undergo medical operation for speedy recovery.

I saw your mail and I understand the content. The check is already mailed to you, via usps(regular mail) and you will receive it on friday. Please I beg of you to help us send at least $500 to us today out of the $1,500 over payment and you are free to deduct it back when the payment check get to you. We need it urgently to add with the money we have been able to gather together here, so that he can go for the operation in time tomorrow, as I cannot withstand again, the pains he is passing through.

Please make use of the below information and still help us send the $500 today or first thing tomorrow, if you cannot meet up again today.

I shall be expecting the western union transfer information detail(sender's name, sender's address, MTCN#) from you early tomorrow.

Thanks for your anticipation.

Hello, I appreciate your

Fri, 2009/07/24 - 16:02

Hello,
I appreciate your response to my inquiry. Am interested in buying
your household item. I would have loved to come, check it out myself but
I just got married and am presently on honeymoon to Hawaii with my wife.
I would love some surprise inclusions and replacements in our home on
our return.
Please do withdraw the advert from craigslist as I wouldn't mind
adding $20 for you to take it down, so that I can be assured that the item
is held for me. I should believe it is in good condition as stated in the ad.
I will be making the payment via a Certified Check, which my secretary will
mail across to you.
I'll be picking the item from you with the aid of a mover. My Mover
will be coming to pick it from you once the Certified Check has been
cashed. Please I will need both your full name and physical address
along with your phone number to issue out the payment.
Best wishes.

STUPID SCAMS..

Tue, 2009/07/28 - 10:30

Scams are an easy thing for people to fall into. I fell into one on craigslist with Daniel Young at come2me.107@gmail.com. The email said..::

I really appreciate your response to my email. I want you to consider
it sold, pls do withdraw the advert from CL to avoid disturbance,
anyways I don't have time to come over to take a look
because of my Business but you don't need to bother yourself with the
shipment, I'll take care of that by engaging the services of a mover,
hence I'll be sending a bank certified check/money order and it will
be delivered to you via United Parcel Service (UPS), so I'll need you
to provide me with
the following information to facilitate the mailing of the check/money
order.

Full name on the check.
Full Physical address to post the check
City, State and Zip Code
Home & Cell Phone to contact you.

Note that the payment will be shipped to your address via
UPS NEXT DAY AIR SERVICE and I will like you to know that you will not
be responsible for shipping i will have my mover to come over
as soon as you have cashed the check
N.B UPS does not deliver to a P.O box addresses. Thanks

Most of the sccammers emails are lengthly in response, and they usually all say something similar such as getting a shipper/mover or giving you extra money and that they will take care of the shipping. I was offered 3650 for a 1200 product. That didn't seem right to me. So he did end up sending a check, from where...who knows..but the emails continued back and fourth as i was telling them i was not involved in shipping and that i was not selling the car to him if this was the case and if the amount wasn't recieved correctly the check would be sent back. I think i sent 5-10 emails stating this to Daniel Young. No response. If they're asking you to wire money, or send something overseas. If you have doubts, it's probably a scammer. Just be careful. We have that if you can't call and pick up the item yourself we don't make a sell.
