Here is a classic scam from Craigslist.They offer to buy your item you advertised via classified for more money than you ask for ($375 in my case, he offered $500).They even give you a bleeding heart story about wife dying in accident.

Mon, 2010/04/26 - 17:59I put my bed and bed frame on craigslist last night 4-25-10 and this is the EXACT email that I got right now and its not only CECE JONES but under a LIZ BENSON email and I've had this happen 4 times on 4 different occasions for different items that I have been selling or getting rid of because I am moving out of the country! These are just scams I keep getting!!!!! What should I do? I love craigslist but this is all im getting lately!

Thu, 2010/07/15 - 20:28yeah i put some car rims on craigslist and got 4 fake scam hits in less then 3 hours, what a joke craigslist has become, its almost not even worth trying..one safe bet..never give out ANY info before talking to someone over the phone or in person, always say CASH ONLY in your posts so when you get the "check" emails youll know they are fake.
