Here is a classic scam from Craigslist.They offer to buy your item you advertised via classified for more money than you ask for ($375 in my case, he offered $500).They even give you a bleeding heart story about wife dying in accident.

Mon, 2010/09/20 - 19:13A "Mandy Lawrence" has been posting on Craigslist offering employment in customer service jobs with a payment up to $1200. They needed mystery shoppers and they will even send you the "check" via UPS. I received the check alright but I took it to the bank and it was....imagine this...a fraud! Glad I lost nothing. Report it if you see this ad.

Mon, 2010/09/20 - 23:26My first inquiry was from someone who asked if I still had my item available. Once I replied, they got my email (which I made just for Craigslist). The following Day I received the following email.
(P.S) Sorry I didn't save the first guys email addy, but I do remember it was also from divinestores.org.
I was told by my assistant that your item is still for sale ,i would have love to come and see it,but my scheduled is very tight.I will mail out your payment once you provide your full name.phone number and address.I can only pay via money order as am on a business trip now,pls let me know where to send your payment to because i wouldn't want to lose it to some else.I don't mind adding ($20) dollars so you can keep it in my favor,you should get your payment in 7-9 working days i will appreciate if you can get the ad off craigslist so i can be sure you are keeping it in my favor.Please let me know as soon as you receive it so i can start making arrangement for the pick-up.

Almost fell for it but the less than two minute response time seemed a bit fishy. After replying to her first email I received the second one almost instantaneously.
