Thanks for the response according to the description, I'm okay with the price and the condition pasted on Craigslist. I'm ready to make instant purchase. My mode of payment would be in certified cashiers check drawn from a local Bank of America where i will arrange for local pick up as soon as you get the payment, because that is the only convenient means for me and i promise everything will go smoothly. I really wish to be there to see the item but i don't have chance cause I'm a very busy person. Concerning the pick up, I will arrange for it after you receive the payment and it clears. Please get back to me with below information so that i can proceed with the payment immediately if you are selling to me.

Thanks for your prompt responds, However, i will need your name and address for payment,As am only able to make payment by money order at this time b/c i am away on assignment.
It will be nice if you can send me more pictures. It will take about 4days for payment to get to you.
As per pick-up, I will make arrangement for the pick-up after payment has been received by you. I don't mind adding sixty dollars so you can keep it in my favor.

Expecting to hear from you soon.
Regards
William Steeve.
Third Email:
Hello,
I have given my assistant the go ahead to mail payment to you.You should receive payment within the coming week( 4-5days time).

Fourth Email:
Hello,
I hope you are fine and alright. I have been busy myself but doing great. There is something i think i must bring to your notice.
After a reconciliation of my account , i discovered that somehow my assistant must have over paid you. The payment that was meant for another transaction was sent to you and the one meant for you was sent to another, however i want to believe i wont have a problem with you.
Please once you receive your payment, i will like you to deduct your money and send the remaining via western union to the shipping company that will help me with the pick-up. I will ask them to contact you as soon as possible .Let me know
as soon as you get your payment.
Warm regards.
William Steeve.

See "The scam is that they
Mon, 2011/02/14 - 12:59See "The scam is that they claim" entry on page 115.
From what I have read, the spam works as:
1. the money order has already been cashed, or
2. you get the money order and try cashing it and it takes a couple of days to process, but the buyer overpaid and ask for some of the money back. You honestly pay them but then after a couple of days the money order does not clear.
It seems like these people are far away, i.e. Nigeria, so they won't be able to harm you. But they will have your legal name and billing address for your accounts... so that's no fun. :(
Good luck!
btw, I got an email from William Steeves.

William Steeve fraud. I
Mon, 2011/03/14 - 21:47This guy almost fooled me. Same story, over payment. But this time by over $1500. Asking me to take an extra $60 to keep my item for him. His secretary sent an over pmt blah blah blah. Smelled a rat. Actually got a bank check. One look at it and could tell it was fraudulent. It was drawn on a bank that I actually work for and I searched on our directory to see if such an employee even exists. Of course not.

Fri, 2011/02/11 - 06:44I receieved the exact same correspondence emails (literally word for word)from sarah Johnson. I decided to goolge it when the spelling in the email address did not match the spelling of her name and specific questions asked of her were not answered.

Thanks for your response. I'm going on a vacation to London but I will instruct my assistant to prepare and mail your payment which I'm sure you will get in about 4 - 6 business days. I'll add $20 extra for the delay. I'll pay by M O or cashier check so send me your info (i.e full name, mailing address and your phone number) so payment can be mailed out immediately. I will also make arrangement for pick-up which will be after you must have received and cashed the payment.
Awaiting your info.
