2 people tried to Scam me - Laughs on them I'm a police officer
Wed, 2010/07/07 - 01:56I had a couple good ones. I was selling a car for 9k one person told me their bank had accidently sent me 15K and ask me to send the overpayment WESTERN UNION because it was for the courier to pick up the car. This person would not give me any information at all. They said they were hard of hearing and all correspondence must be done through email. I told him/her I was very familiar with the deaf service and would be happy to give him/her a call. I explained that I have 2 deaf cousins that I use the service to talk to them. Still only emails.
First clue something wrong they want your information but will not give theirs.
Scammer's email address: trimark112@gmail.com
The other one was just as bad sorry I don't have the email address, I remember it was April something @gmail.com. The funny part both of the scammers were at @gmail.com
Specific questions to ask:
Their Name & Address
Phone number
Confirmation # of package.
If they tell you they overpaid just say, "Thank you for the Tip." Remember just because you bank clears the check in approx. 5 days don't really mean it's clear. It can take up to 3-4 weeks before they actually catch it if the fake check is a really good on.
If it's found to be a fake-Guess What- they will come after you for fraud.
BE VERY CAREFUL.

craigslist scammers
Tue, 2011/12/13 - 11:25I buy and sell a lot of items, some small some large, on craigslist and unclehenrys, in Maine. I get at least 6-10 scam emails per item, but now I have them send the check, its costing them there profits from the poor people that make bad decisions, I know I had a tenant get caught up in it, even after I told hime it was a scam, but his banked cleared the money, and he is on the hook for 2100. I even make up names like Dew Shbag and they still send the check. they should have a task force/sting to catch and deport them back to....well I can say because that would be profiling.

So I put my maxima on CL
Wed, 2013/05/08 - 09:48So I put my maxima on CL three days ago and it seems all I get is emails from scammers.
You would think there should be heightened security on these sorta websites, but there is not.
To sum it all up, ill never use CL or EBay again. It's ruined.

Bryan Bradley <bryanbb871@gmail.com>
Sat, 2013/05/18 - 13:05Bryanbb871@gmail.com beware of this seller,.
he had placed a 2004 Nissan Maxima Sl V6 for sale and this was the email he snet me after asking his for more details on the car. Total Scam.
First of all I want to thank you for your interest in my 2004 Nissan Maxima
SL V6. I am selling the car because I'm in the US Army and my unit will be
deployed to Kuwait and I don't want it to get old in my garage. The price
is low because I need to sell it before June 20th. The Maxima is in
excellent condition and runs great. It has only 84,650 miles, clean title.
It has no damage, no scratches, never involved in an accident, everything
works as it should with no hidden issues. Price as stated in the ad is
$1.970. The car is in Fargo, ND; in case it gets sold I will take care of
the shipping.
Here's some photos, in case you want to see more:
http://s1300.photobucket.com/user/maximanissansl/library/
I will ship it through DAS shipping company. I will take care of the
shipping to your location with no extra expense to you, like I said. I
think I can have it sent to your location in 4-5 working days. I am a
member of the eBay BuyBack Program and using this service you will get a 3
days testing period after delivery.
During that 3 days testing period I will not be getting any money. I need
to know if you are interested in buying it so I can ask eBay to send you
the details on how this works. If interested please include in your next
email your contact info for eBay ( full name, full shipping address and
phone no.) so we can get things started.
I will be waiting for your reply.
Thank you,
Bryan Bradley
